Ruby On Rails VS Code setup

Language server

There are two language servers for Ruby on Rails:

• Shopify Ruby LSP (newer)

• Solargraph (older)

It is possible to run both without any problem.

LSP Integrations

• Stimulus LSP

Ruby Linter & Formatter

• Rubocop: Linter and code formatter. Enforce many of the guidelines of the Ruby style guide.

• Standard: It brings the ethos of StandardJS to Ruby.

• Rufo: Use it for formatting.

Debugger

• VSCode rdbg Ruby Debugger

ERB Formatter

• ERB Formatter/Beautify: It's a formatter for .erb template files.
